Job Title: Oracle Financials Cloud ERP Functional Consultant

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Financials Cloud ERP Functional Consultant. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of hands-on functional experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, specifically within the ES, GL, FA, AR, CM, and Tax modules. The role involves analyzing requirements, proposing solutions, and engaging with business stakeholders to design, build, deploy, and maintain ERP solutions across multiple countries. The consultant will also support various testing phases, application upgrades, and manage production incidents while maintaining all necessary project artifacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Analysis & Solution Design:

    • Analyze business requirements and propose effective solutions.

    • Engage with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.

  • ERP Solution Management:

    • Design, build, deploy, and maintain ERP solutions end-to-end for multiple countries.

    • Handle complex change requests for existing sites and new rollouts for smaller countries.

    • Assess the impact of upgrades and monthly patches on the design and solution.

    • Evaluate the impact of change requests on the design and solution, not only in Financials but also in other verticals such as Procurement and Billing.

  • Support & Maintenance:

    • Provide support for various testing phases, application upgrades, environment builds, and production incidents.

    • Maintain and build project artifacts including design documents, configuration documents, accounting workbooks, etc.

  • Compliance & Standards:

    • Strive to demonstrate and adhere to the behavioral standards of HSBC and our service line, FinEX.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience:

    • 8-10 years of hands-on functional experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.

    • Strong expertise in ES (Enterprise Structures), GL (General Ledger), FA (Fixed Assets), AR (Accounts Receivable), CM (Cash Management), and Tax modules.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Experience with international tax rules and ERP solution design is preferable.

    • Prior work experience in solution design, business process review, and implementing best practices.

    • Exposure to the full life cycle of implementations and change control procedures.

  • Industry Knowledge:

    • Experience in the banking and financial services industry is preferred.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
