Job Title: Workday Technical Lead

Summary:
The Workday Technical Lead is a key player in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of our Workday HCM (Human Capital Management) system. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities:
System Design and Configuration:
Lead the technical design and configuration of Workday modules, including but not limited to HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Talent, and Recruiting.
Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to meet business needs.
Design and implement integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide expert-level technical support to resolve complex Workday issues.
Troubleshoot integrations, data issues, and system errors.
Partner with Workday support to escalate and resolve critical problems.
Upgrades and Enhancements:
Lead the planning and execution of Workday system upgrades and new feature implementations.
Stay informed about Workday updates and recommend enhancements to optimize system performance.
Data Management and Security:
Ensure data integrity and accuracy within Workday.
Implement security measures to protect sensitive employee data.
Manage user access and permissions in accordance with company policies.
Collaboration:
Work closely with HR functional teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Partner with IT to ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Documentation:
Create and maintain clear and concise technical documentation, including system configurations, integrations, and troubleshooting guides.
Skillset and Qualifications:
Experience:
3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM system configuration and implementation.
Proven track record in designing and developing custom Workday reports, dashboards, and integrations.
Experience with Workday Studio, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), and Workday security is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of Workday data models, business processes, and security framework.
Proficiency in XML, XSLT, web services (REST, SOAP), and SQL.
Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
Workday Pro certification.
Experience with other HRIS systems.
Experience in a global organization.
